Case report 687. Disseminated Mycobacterium avium-intracellulare osteomyelitis

We present a patient with disseminated MAI osteomyelitis with no evidence of underlying disease or immune failure. Disseminated MAI is rare in the immunocompetent host and closely simulates malignant disease. Delayed cultures are required for precise diagnosis and optimal treatment.
