Summary: | Small bowel phytobezoars are rare and are almost always obstructive. The literature contains few reports on the radiological findings for primary small bowel bezoars. There is also very little published on CT results with this lesion, but the features of the scan are characteristic. We present the CT findings in a patient with an obstructive small bowel phytobezoar, and emphasize the diagnostic value of CT. |
