Summary:Two new sucrose esters, arillatoses A (1) and B (2), and four new trisaccharide esters, arillatoses C-F (3-6), were isolated from the roots of Polygala arillata, together with four known sucrose esters, glomeratose E (7) and sibiricoses A(1) (8), A(5) (9), and A(6) (10). The structures of the new compounds were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidence.
