Summary: | Methicillin‐resistant Staphylococcus aureus nasal colonization was investigated in patients arriving for elective cardiovascular surgery, renal patients admitted for arteriovenous graft surgery, and patients transferred to our hospital from other institutions. Renal patients were significantly more likely to be colonized and represent a potential source of MRSA to our institution. |
