Mechanisms of Spontaneous Miniature Activity at CA3-CA1 Synapses: Evidence for a Divergence from a Random Poisson Process
In a recent study, electrophysiological recordings revealed that the dynamics of spontaneous quanta are more complex than previously thought and cannot be simply predicted by applying the Poisson theorem. The Poisson theorem is described.
