Uptake of Tc-99m MDP by Renal Cortex in a Patient with Advanced Hepatic Disease and Oliguria

Marked uptake of Tc-99m MDP by renal cortex was noted in a patient with advanced hepatic disease. There was a history of oliguria, ascites, and lower leg edema. The scintigraphic findings may be relevant to the hepatorenal syndrome.
