Summary:Multiple reactions in a single pot: The development of a catalytic asymmetric approach to fully substituted piperidines, which previously remained elusive, is achieved by the use of a multi‐catalyst‐promoted cascade reaction (see scheme). The one‐pot reaction cascade is easy to perform, highly stereoselective and broad in scope, and the reaction products are high‐value intermediates for multiple synthetic transformations.
