Summary: | The prognostic significance of heart rate turbulence parameters for predicting cardiac death during I-year follow-up was evaluated in Ill patients who underwent coronary artery bypass grafting. Patients who died had significantly lower values of turbulence slope compared with survivors, whereas no significant difference in turbulence onset values was observed; these findings were confirmed in the multivariate Cox analysis, which showed that turbulence slope remained a significant and independent predictor of cardiac death after adjusting for age and ejection fraction. |
