Single-Crystal to Single-Crystal Photochemical Structural Transformations of Interpenetrated 3 D Coordination Polymers by [2+2] Cycloaddition Reactions
Photosensitive pillars: Perfectly aligned CC bonds in trans‐1,2‐bis(4‐pyridyl)ethene ligand pairs undergo 100 % photochemical [2+2] cycloaddition reactions in interpenetrated 3D coordination polymers, accompanied by single‐crystal to single‐crystal (SCSC) transformation (see scheme).
