No Linkage Disequilibrium HLA-GLO Found in 1,004 Normal, Unrelated Danes
1,004 unrelated Danes were typed for HLA-A,B antigens and glyoxalase I (GLO), and investigations for linkage disequilibrium between the HLA and GLO loci were made using a maximum likelihood method for calculation of gene and haplotype frequencies. No linkage disequilibrium was found.
