Summary:[5-(Pyridin-2-yl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-ylthio]acetic acid (3,4-diaryl-3 H-thiazol-2-ylidene)-hydrazide derivatives were synthesized and tested for their in vitro antimycobacterial activity. Some compounds showed an interesting activity against a strain of Mycobacterium tuberculosis H 37Rv and three clinical isolates of M. tuberculosis.
