Bis-actinomycin D: A new synthetic sequence-specific ligand

The authors describe the DNA binding properties of the bis-actinomycin D, a new type of synthetic sequence-specific ligand in which 2 actinomycin-like molecules are linked covalently by a flexible chain attached to position 7 of the antibiotic chromophore.
