Red Cell Glyoxalase I Polymorphism in the Finnish Population
Red cell glyoxalase I (GLO) polymorphism was studied in two populations in Finland, the Finnish speaking Finns and the Swedish speaking Finns. The two Finnish populations did not differ from each other. Finns were found to have the lowest reported Caucasoid gene frequency of the allele GLO¹ 0.359.
