Summary:This article presents a reflection on the modalities of sacralization at stake in the movement & the social uses of Catholic rosaries. You take a path that some of the narratives about the origins of traditional religious object, associated with key figures in Catholicism, followed by the presentation of the practices of prayer finally reaching a comparison with other objects considered sacred in Catholicism. In this way, it is emphasized that the procedures of sacralization of the third uses are compatible with both special & ordinary inserted in a process of broad social movements, often performed by non-religious ways.
