BLM Heterozygosity and the Risk of Colorectal Cancer

Bloom syndrome is caused by inactivating, germline mutations of the RecQ DNA helicase BLM. A study that examined BLM heterozygosity and its associated risk of colorectal cancer among Jews is discussed.
