Generation of Calcium Oscillations in Fibroblasts by Positive Feedback between Calcium and IP(3)
Research into the generation of calcium oscillations in fibroblasts is discussed. The dominant feedback mechanism appears to be a Ca2plus stimulation of phospholipase C once this enzyme is activated by hormone receptors.
