Description
Summary:These strong discipline-based societies will be formed by strengthening existing divisions and forums and creating new groups where needed. Currently, [AIChE]'s divisions and forums primarily organize the technical programs at AIChE national meetings and recognize members with awards. Only about 20-25% of AIChE members belong to a division (or more than one), and only some of these divisions are strong. Our strategic goal is to find ways to make discipline-specific groups stronger.
