Summary: | The stationary process of heat transfer at film boiling of superfluid helium (He II) on the cylindrical heater in microgravity is investigated. The two models for the description of this process are developed. Herewith, the molecular-kinetic method is applied to describe the transport phenomena on the interface: HeII-vapor. Moreover, steady heat transfer in superfluid helium before onset of film boiling is considered. The dependencies of the vapor film parameters on heat flux leaving the heater surface are obtained for case of this heat flux increase from zero to peak heat flux and the subsequent decrease to recovery heat flux. |
