Summary: | In the context of a field study into the ammonia and nitric acid phase partitioning the aerosol characteristics, i.e. size distributions, have been regarded besides concentrations of the chemical species involved for the first time.
Deviations from equilibrium are discussed in the context of degree of mixing, besides other. From estimations of the particulate ammonium nitrate surface to volume ratio an interdependence of the attainment of the interphase equilibrium and the interfacial area is indicated. |
