Summary:The results of experimental investigations of the regularities of formation and interaction between hydroacoustic and temperature fields in a shallow sea in the shelf zone of the Sea of Japan are presented and discussed. It is shown that low-cost and trawl-safe acoustic bottom systems can be effectively applied for thermometry of oceanic shelf zones.
