Summary: | A numerical model system was established for the emergency response of a nuclear accident over complex terrain. In order to evaluate and calibrate the model a series of tracer experiments and towing tank experiments were carried out. The flow and concentration fields simulated by the model and observed in those experiments are compared. Finally the advantage and limitation of the system are discussed. |
