Summary: | All eleven subjects completing a behavioral treatment for obesity (Öst & Götestam, 1976) were followed-up and weighed under supervision three years after treatment termination. The results showed still a mean weight reduction as compared to pre-treatment. At the 1 yr follow-up the weight reduction had been statistically significant, but at the 3 yr follow-up this was no longer the case. Some indications for a treatment-specific effect are discussed. |
