Summary: | We have demonstrated an environmentally friendly and efficient route for the reduction of graphene oxide by aluminum powder in only 30min. The highly reduced graphene oxide had been confirmed by X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and thermo gravimetric analysis. Furthermore, the bulk conductivity of the prepared graphene sheets is 2.1×103S/m, which is only one order of magnitude lower than that of pristine graphite (∼3.2×104S/m). |
