Summary:Psammaplin A 11'-sulfate (3) and bisaprasin 11'-sulfate (4) have been isolated from the marine sponge Aplysinella rhax, along with the known psammaplin A (1). Their structures were determined on the basis of their spectroscopic data. Compounds 1 and 3 inhibited [(3)H]1,3-dipropyl-8-cyclopentylxanthine binding to rat-brain adenosine A(1) receptors.
