Lobar pneumonia: an ultrasound diagnosis

Ultrasound was used to examine a 5-year-old girl with radiographic evidence of right upper lobe consolidation. The specific ultrasonic features of uncomplicated lobar pneumonia excluded other causes of consolidation.
