Description
Summary:STUDIES of the nature and role of free radicals in normal and pathological processes have been shown to be very important 1 . Experiments with wet, frozen and lyophilized samples have shown that there is a correlation between changes in intensity of the electron spin resonance (ESR) signal and the metabolic behaviour of biological substrates 2 . Clearly such ESR signals are of a biological nature.
