Description
Summary:In the past 15 years, health-related quality of life (HRQOL) has become of major interest in health psychology, and HRQOL measures have enabled healthcare workers to obtain a better understanding of the impact of the illness and its treatment on patients' lives. The CFQ-parent version is a 43-item self-report measure that assesses four broad domains: physical symptoms (nine items), emotional functioning (five items), vitality (five items) and school functioning (three items); and seven CF-specific domains: body image (three items), eating disturbances (three items), treatment burden (two items), respiratory symptoms (six items), digestive symptoms (three items) and weight (one item), along with an overall health perception scale (three items).
