Summary: | The goal of Nurse Competence in Aging (NCA) has been to help specialty nursing associations move forward with activities to educate their members in geriatric care and to help these associations develop activities and products that serve as ongoing resources to their members and help sustain the organizational commitment to geriatrics. Here, Esterson et discuss these accomplishments as well as the activities and products of the participating associations of the NCA. These associations include American Association of Critical Care Nurses, American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses, Emergency Nurses Association, and the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association. |
