Grassroots efforts to promote tobacco-free schools in rural Missouri

In 1990, the Missouri Department of Health established four cancer control coalitions as part of a National Cancer Institute technical capacity building grant. The attempts of one of these coalitions--the Northeast District Cancer Control Coalition--to promote tobacco-free schools are highlighted.
