Interferon beta-1b

The use of interferons as potential disease-modifying agents in multiple sclerosis (MS) is discussed. The mechanisms by which interferon beta-1b produces therpeutic benefits are unknown, but several drug-related activities may be relevant to the immunopathogenesis of MS.
