HLA-B4034 identified in a UK Caucasoid potential bone marrow donor
Routine HLA typing of a UK Caucasoid donor (MJ194R) was performed by serology for HLA-A and HLA-B using monoclonal antibodies (One Lambda). Further DNA-based HLA typing was performed using a combination of PCR-sequence specific primers (SSP; Dynal), sequence-specific oligonucleotide probing (SSO; in...

Summary: | Routine HLA typing of a UK Caucasoid donor (MJ194R) was performed by serology for HLA-A and HLA-B using monoclonal antibodies (One Lambda). Further DNA-based HLA typing was performed using a combination of PCR-sequence specific primers (SSP; Dynal), sequence-specific oligonucleotide probing (SSO; in-house), and reverse line blot assay (Dynal) for the identification of HLA-A, -B, -C, -DRB, and -DQB1 types. These results are given. |
