Summary:The participation of the head of the caudate nucleus in the organization of praxis, perception, gnosis, and "ideational operations" has been demonstrated. The broad spectrum of dysfunctions observed in the presence of caudate insufficiency was eliminated by a specific set of psychotropic preparations acting on classical neuromediator systems of the brain of cats.
