Some thoughts on choice and satisfaction
The article, Choice Matters, by Karen Davis and colleagues, is discussed. The article presumes that out-of-plan use signifies dissatisfaction with a plan. More importantly, the survey is unable to distinguish between managed care plans that allow opt-out provisions and those that do not.
