Summary:Cholescintigraphy is a useful screening procedure for imaging hepatobiliary system in patients with right upper quadrant abdominal pain. The classic finding of cystic duct obstruction is nonvisualizatlon of the gallbladder over 4 hours. The authors report a study with visualization of cystic duct, proximal to the obstruction by a stone, as seen on the ultrasound study and proven at surgery.
