Rhabdomyolysis Associated with Ehrlichia chaffeensis Infection
Human ehrlichiosis, a tick-borne zoonosis first reported in the United States in 1986, is an increasingly recognized entity with a steadily broadening geographic distribution. We describe what we believe to be the first case of Ehrlichia chaffeensis infection associated with rhabdomyolysis.
