Shortened duration of post-ischemic hyperemic blood flow in the forearm of patients with heart failure
Patients with heart failure have impaired hyperemia in response to forearm ischemia both in terms of a reduced peak response and duration of hyperemia. The relative importance of abnormal structure and function to impaired hyperemia remains to be elucidated.
