Cooperative Synthesis of Leukotrienes by Leukocytes and Vascular Cells

The ability of the more abundant vascular smooth muscle and endothelial cells to generate LT has been investigated. Interactions between these vascular cells and inflammatory cells also have been studied and may be quantitatively important to normal as well as pathological vascular LT biosynthesis.
