Summary: | Systemic haemangiopericytoma is a rare soft tissue tumour originating from pericytes which are contractile pericapillary cells, and represents less than one percent of all vascular neoplasms. The most common site of involvement is the thigh followed by the retroperitoneum, while the paraspinal location is very rare. We report the first case of systemic "dumb-bell" haemangiopericytoma illustrated radiologically, which mimick, a dorsal "dumb-bell" neurinoma. |
