Description
Summary:A new technique is used to solve the Milne integral equation with specular and diffuse reflecting boundary. This method is based on constructing integral equations which linked with the Milne integral equation. A trial function with three parameters for the particle density is used. These parameters are determined and used to calculate some physical quantities. The effect of specular and diffuse reflectivities of the boundary on the extrapolated endpoint and the angular distribution has been assessed. Our results are compared with the available published data which show excellent agreement.
