Summary: | Gastric duplication cyst is reported to be the least common of all gastrointestinal tract duplications. Alimentary tract duplications, including gastric duplication cysts, may have serious complications requiring emergency surgery as their presenting features. Thus, prenatal or early neonatal diagnosis is very important to avoid a complicated course. Herein we describe a very rare case of prenatally diagnosed gastric duplication cyst to emphasize several perinatal diagnostic imaging features and the importance of prenatal diagnosis for planning appropriate surgical treatment. |
