Invasive Disease Due to Epidermophyton floccosum in an Immunocompromised Patient with Behçet's Syndrome

Epidermophyton floccosum is a common cause of dermatophytosis, but, to our knowledge, the organism has not been reported previously as a cause of invasive disease. We describe a case of deep tissue infection due to E. floccosum in an immunocompromised patient with Behcet's syndrome.
