Telomerase Activity for the Preoperative Diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer

In a study, telomerase activity in pancreatic tumors was assayed by use of pancreatic duct cells obtained preoperatively. This procedure may become a useful tool for diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
