Description
Summary:The study was carried out to evaluate the applicability of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in detecting tumors in the abdomen of the dog. Abdominal ultrasound and MRI were performed on 8 dogs having a mass lesion on abdominal radiography. MR images were obtained in the transverse, sagittal and dorsal planes using T1‐ and T2‐weighted spin echo pulse sequences. There was good visual correlation of the lesion site by MRI and ultrasonography (US).
