HERR JOS. SEILER, in his article:-"Continuation of Die Zauberflote" (see page 251)-seems to be of opinion that Schikaneder was really the author of the libretto. Otto Jahn is not quite convinced of the fact, and names, also, a certain Giesecke. In his book:
