The cosubstrate NADP(H) protects lysine 601 in the porcine NADPH-cytochrome P-450 reductase against pyridoxylation

Lys 601 in NADPH-cytochrome P-450 reductase is modified by reductive alkylation with pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (pyridoxylation). Lys 601 is protected against modification by the cosubstrate NADP(H).
