Summary:Findings from 214 pairs of undergraduates support the validity of the Inventory of Interpersonal Problems-Circumplex (L. Alden, J. Wiggins, and A. Pincus, 1990) and describe discrepancies in self- versus peer-reported interpersonal problems. Results also describe differences in the general interpersonal distress factor accounted for by ipsatizing versus removing the general factor from unipsatized data. (SLD)
