Summary: | A description of the therapeutic experience is presented to illustrate how couple's therapy can be conceptualized as a “praxis”— action and reflection — and as liberating education for both therapist and client when neither exclusively has the upper‐hand, that is, the power of knowledge or experience. As a praxis, therapy cannot become a model, nor can theoretical principles be consistently derived and applied. Consequently, presented here is only an outline of the therapeutic process and the conceptual framework in order to encourage both discussion and the never‐ending inquiry that knowledge has to be. |
