We show that AY19 mAb exhibits agonistic properties by inducing a significant increase in the size of CFU‐GM colonies when added to serum‐free liquid cultures of hematopoietic progenitors. This suggests that AY19 mAb identifies a cell surface receptor which may be involved in the regulation of hematopoietic cell proliferation. |
