Adenosine receptors: new opportunities for future drugs

This review summarises current knowledge on adenosine receptors, an important G protein-coupled receptor. The four known adenosine receptor subtypes A 1, A 2A, A 2B, and A 3 are discussed with special reference to the opportunities for drug development.
