Summary: | Anthropometric, physical and dental examinations on Ahousat and Anaham Indians revealed that stature and skeletal maturation for age in children was less than in Caucasian controls. Adults were also shorter and female obesity was prevalent. Physical findings were not striking, but dental and periodontal health was poor. Nutritional factors are probably of major causative significance. |
